All activities will be carried out in accordance with the level and scope of Engineering Authority delegated to you.As a Structural Integrity Engineer your responsibilities are, but aren’t limited to:Carry out analysis of aircraft structures in support of Platform programs with the intent on maintaining Platform capability and safetyManaging and analysing data and information in relation to platform performance, fatigue management and engineering recordsMaintaining data files, engineering records and electronic databases as required to accurately report and record engineering decisionsOngoing maintenance of plans, procedures and capabilitiesCarrying out routine and on-occurrence taskingSupporting engineering investigations at the request of Platform programs and developing appropriate engineering documentationAssessing the impact of corrosion and other forms of Environmental Degradation, and developing improvements and changes to design or maintenance policyReview and analysis of the fatigue accrual on critical structure and componentsTo be successful for the role of Structural Integrity Engineer you will require:Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or compatible discipline from a nationally accredited program or equivalent2+ years' experience working in engineering structures or ASI field as a practicing design engineer in the aviation industryTechnical and theoretical knowledge of aircraft structures or mechanical systemsWillingness and ability to develop Practitioner Level core Structures competencies in-line with our technical career development pathwaysAble to independently perform simple analysis with assistance as required, assist on complex analysisEligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance is required.Applications close on Friday 28th June 2019What we offerWithout the collective smarts of our people, we would not be able to achieve what we do. An opportunity exists for an Aerospace Structures Engineer within our Structural Integrity division, reporting into our Melbourne office.

To be successful for the role of Structural Integrity Engineer you will require:

  • 2+ years' experience working in engineering structures or ASI field as a practicing design engineer in the aviation industry
  • Technical and theoretical knowledge of aircraft structures or mechanical systems
  • Willingness and ability to develop Practitioner Level core Structures competencies in-line with our technical career development pathways
  • Able to independently perform simple analysis with assistance as required, assist on complex analysis

Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance is required.
