Supporting our work is our Corporate Services division; the oil in the QinetiQ machine.About the roleWhat will a typical day look like?You will be responsible to GM Commercial for providing commercial support to QinetiQ’s existing customer contracts, new business opportunities and corporate needs.  The role will have the opportunity to work across the broad spectrum of commercial activities, including contract management, estimating and pricing, procurement and subcontract management, export controls and risk management.  From time to time, the role will be assigned to a Commercial Lead to provide commercial support in the pursuit of business winning campaigns and/or programs.    As a Commercial Administrator you will be responsible for:Administration of QinetiQ’s commercial related policies, procedures, templates and training;Maintenance of QinetiQ’s Contract Management System; and maintenance of other commercial registers (e.g. export control, supplier assurance, consultancy subcontract environment). To be successful for the role of Commercial Administrator, you will require:At least two years’ relevant experience working in commercial administration.Effective communication skills across all levels, both with internal and external stakeholders.Strong attention to details.Good writing skills, with the ability to draft contract change proposals and letters.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.Experience working with export controls would be highly desirable.Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government secret clearance is required.Applications close on 10 January 2020.What we offerWithout the collective smarts of our people, we would not be able to achieve what we do.
