Opportunities exist for Configuration Management professionals within our Advisory Services division, reporting into our Adelaide office.For our Advisory Services division, everything starts with a problem that needs a solution. We act as an independent, technical partner for customers looking to procure defined services and develop specific capabilities. We help them diagnose, rationalise and solve intractable problems by providing analysis, advice and assurance. Whether operating on the ocean floor, or in orbit around Mars, we get under the skin of a problem to enable our customers to make sound decisions about cost, time and performance. As Configuration Management Lead you will be responsible for:Leading the configuration management function in the development of the configuration management systemPlanning, leading and managing resources to achieve business outcomesDeveloping a configuration management process and facilitating governance of the functionDeveloping and implementing processes and procedures for effective change managementFacilitating the Configuration Control BoardDriving configuration control of artefacts and outputs and determining a base-line of theseProviding high level advice to stakeholders As Configuration Management Practitioner you will be responsible for:Providing support and assistance in the development of the configuration management systemManaging and maintaining technical data, configuration data and information management dataSupporting the development of configuration management processes and proceduresSupporting configuration control activities, outputs and audits To be successful for these Configuration Management roles the ideal applicants will require:Demonstrated experience of configuration management principles, activities and outputs within a large complex projectExtensive experience operating and maintaining a Configuration Management SystemDemonstrated ability to perform effectively as part of a project teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to engage with and influence stakeholders Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government security clearance is required.We’re seeking to speak with people this week, and will be conducting interviews immediately.What we offerWithout the collective smarts of our people, we would not be able to achieve what we do. As Configuration Management Lead you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the configuration management function in the development of the configuration management system
  • Planning, leading and managing resources to achieve business outcomes
  • Developing a configuration management process and facilitating governance of the function
  • Developing and implementing processes and procedures for effective change management
  • Facilitating the Configuration Control Board
  • Driving configuration control of artefacts and outputs and determining a base-line of these
  • Providing high level advice to stakeholders

 

As Configuration Management Practitioner you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support and assistance in the development of the configuration management system
  • Managing and maintaining technical data, configuration data and information management data
  • Supporting the development of configuration management processes and procedures
  • Supporting configuration control activities, outputs and audits

 

To be successful for these Configuration Management roles the ideal applicants will require:

  • Demonstrated experience of configuration management principles, activities and outputs within a large complex project
  • Extensive experience operating and maintaining a Configuration Management System
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively as part of a project team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders

 

Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government security clearance is required.
