Whether operating on the ocean floor, or in orbit, we get under the skin of a problem to enable our customers to make sound decisions about cost, time and performanceAbout the roleYou will use your initiative and technical expertise to research, analyse, plan, review and adjust priorities and work activities to develop and deliver a complete Configuration Management system. Your objective, systematic analysis will draw accurate evidence based conclusions, to deliver complex technical configuration activities.As Configuration Manager you will be responsible for:Developing configuration management system requirements, in consultation with stakeholders adhering to standards, trends and technical regulatory framework requirements.Developing configuration management system, ensuring the system design complies with all appropriate engineering and technical processes/procedures and regulatory requirements.Implementing configuration management system, including delivery of design documentation, process documentation, information systems and evidence the system is compliant.Transition planning existing technical data and configuration management framework in to the new system.Providing presentations, briefings and information sessions on the configuration management systems to stakeholders allowing for transition of projects to the newly established system.Engaging stakeholders and managing stakeholder expectations.To be successful for the role of Configuration Manager the ideal applicant will require:Demonstrated experience of configuration management principles, applicable standards and assessment and management frameworks.Extensive experience operating and maintaining a Configuration Management System.Demonstrated ability to perform effectively as part of a project team.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders.Previous experience using CMT-L will be looked upon favourably.Applicants MUST be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.Applications close on Monday 14 July 2019What we offerWithout the collective smarts of our people, we would not be able to achieve what we do. About the role
