Relocation assistance will be offered, as will working remotely.As an Explosive Ordnance Engineer you will be involved in:Supporting project activities associated with ADF UAV capabilitiesSupporting ADF explosive ordnance service releaseSupporting military permit to fly activities associated with explosive ordnanceGenerating and reviewing technical EO publications, including EO Design Assessments and DEOP Topic publicationsEngineering procedures, documentation, databases and management systemsProducing written documents for the Defence IndustryTo be successful for the role of Explosive Ordnance Engineer you will require:Tertiary Engineering qualifications (mechanical, chemical, aerospace or similar) and maintaining professional competencies in the weapons engineering domainAn understanding of the regulatory requirements applicable to the acquisition and/or sustainment of Australian Defence Force (ADF) EO assetsExperience working within Defence in the fields of explosive ordnance or guided weapons engineering in uniformed, public service or commercial sector rolesExperience working within engineering management and quality systems frameworksEligibility to obtain an Australian Government secret clearance is required.What we offerWithout the collective smarts of our people, we would not be able to achieve what we do. We currently have multiple opportunities for experienced Explosive Ordnance Engineers to join our team, in Canberra. Relocation assistance will be offered, as will working remotely.

As an Explosive Ordnance Engineer you will be involved in:

  • Supporting project activities associated with ADF UAV capabilities
  • Supporting ADF explosive ordnance service release
  • Supporting military permit to fly activities associated with explosive ordnance

  • Producing written documents for the Defence Industry

To be successful for the role of Explosive Ordnance Engineer you will require:

  • Tertiary Engineering qualifications (mechanical, chemical, aerospace or similar) and maintaining professional competencies in the weapons engineering domain
  • An understanding of the regulatory requirements applicable to the acquisition and/or sustainment of Australian Defence Force (ADF) EO assets
  • Experience working within Defence in the fields of explosive ordnance or guided weapons engineering in uniformed, public service or commercial sector roles
  • Experience working within engineering management and quality systems frameworks

Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government secret clearance is required.
