QinetiQ employs more than 6000 people in 51 locations around the world, offering our customers premier expertise in advice, services and creative technology-based products.An opportunity exists for a Project Manager to join our Advisory Services division in the role of Principal Consultant, reporting into our Adelaide office.Embedded with the customer, you will provide project management and governance expertise to ensure delivery of a fit for purpose facility.As Project Manager you will be responsible for:Change management of the infrastructure plan in line with the execution strategy, goals and schedule dependencies through the design and delivery stages.Management and coordination for the delivery of the Program infrastructure project execution plan framework.Reviewing design deliverables throughout the design stages.Contract management activities, including scope definition, changes and closeout activities.Providing input to ministerial briefs, parliamentary questions, decision briefs and assessment reports.To be successful for the role of Project Manager you will require:Extensive project management experience managing large complex infrastructure projects.Knowledge in state and local government planning and development policy and processes.Well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relations to influence and lead decision makers.Demonstrated ability to set priorities, multi task and work under pressure.AIPM Project Management credentials.Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance is required.Interviews for this position will be taking place from Thursday 6th June 2019.What we offerWithout the collective smarts of our people, we would not be able to achieve what we do.
