About the Role QinetiQ is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Scheduler to work with our Advisory Services business in support of acquisition and sustainment activities in the Defence industry. This position will be based in Melbourne.For our Advisory Services division, everything starts with a problem that needs a solution. We act as an independent, technical partner for customers looking to procure defined services and develop specific capabilities. We help them diagnose, rationalise and solve intractable problems by providing analysis, advice and assurance. Whether operating on the ocean floor, or in orbit, we get under the skin of a problem to enable our customers to make sound decisions about cost, time and performance.What will a typical day look like? Every day will see you providing project planning, co-ordination & scheduling services to ensure the project management office achieves its outcomes.   • Performance measurement

To be successful for the role of Project Scheduler the ideal applicant will require: 

  • Experience using Open Plan Professional
  • Experience using Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of the procurement and Major Capital Acquisition programs or general processes
  • A minimum of 5yrs professional experience as a project scheduler/planner
  • Good teamwork skills and the ability to work as part of a fast-moving project team in a dynamic and changing work environment
  • The confidence to be a self-starter

Candidates will be required to obtain an Australian Government Baseline clearance which will require Australian citizenship.
