An opportunity exists for a Risk Manager within our Advisory Services division, reporting into our Adelaide office.For our Advisory Services division, everything starts with a problem that needs a solution. We act as an independent, technical partner for customers looking to procure defined services and develop specific capabilities. We help them diagnose, rationalise and solve intractable problems by providing analysis, advice and assurance. Whether operating on the ocean floor, or in orbit around Mars, we get under the skin of a problem to enable our customers to make sound decisions about cost, time and performance.As the Risk Manager you will be responsible for:Leading and supervising the Risk Officer with reports in accordance with (iaw) PFAD ScheduleMaintain and implement the programs Risk and Opportunity Management Plan (ROMP)Maintain the Program Risk Baseline monthly and its associated tools (PREDICT) and recordsOversee the Risk Officer in preparing and running the monthly Program Risk meetings with the program Directors.Participate in the Program Risk meetings providing a status of allocated risk actions, agenda items and active risk projects.Develop and maintain the programs Risk and Opportunity Management Policies and Procedures.To be successful for the role of Risk Manager you will require:Demonstrated experience in the acquisition of large Defence capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to establish and maintain constructive cross-team communicationsHave the expertise and experience to make responsible decisions on matters assigned, and consulting in specialty areasDemonstrated ability to engage a broad range of stakeholdersEligibility to obtain an Australian Government NV1 clearance is required.Applications close on Friday 14th June 2019.What we offer:Without the collective smarts of our people, we would not be able to achieve what we do.
