In Australia we employ more than 400 across the ACT, QLD, NSW, SA and VIC.  About the Role  An opportunity exists for a Senior Software Engineer within our MSP business, based in Adelaide. In our MSP Division, we are part of a consortium of independent, technical partners, who share the Defence’s commitment to growing the capability of delivering large integrated work packages across the CASG domains and CoE functions.  As part of this consortium, we provide ‘Strategic Partner’, ‘Capability Partner’ and ‘Integrated Work Partner’ services for the next 11 years.  We help diagnose, rationalise and solve intractable problems by providing analysis, advice and assurance. Whether operating on the ocean floor, or in orbit, we get under the skin of a problem to enable our customers to make sound decisions about cost, time and performance In this role as Senior Software Engineer you will utilise your MATLAB and C++ development expertise to provide innovative solutions to complex technical problems. To be successful for the role of Senior Software Engineer you will require:Degree level qualifications in software engineering or computer scienceExtensive MATLAB experience, preferably in a R&D environmentTechnical experience in C++, C# and .NetExperience solving complex technical problemsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse clients and stakeholdersProfessional written and verbal communication skillsA collaborative and consultative mind-set and approachRF and/or EM experience will be looked upon favourable Candidates are required to hold an active or activation-ready NV1 security clearance which will require Australian citizenship. Due to the dynamic environment we work within, we can’t always wait until our adverts close before reviewing applications and moving to interview.
