We act as an independent, technical partner for customers looking to procure defined services and develop specific capabilities. We help them diagnose, rationalise and solve intractable problems by providing analysis, advice and assurance. Whether operating on the ocean floor, or in orbit around Mars, we get under the skin of a problem to enable our customers to make sound decisions about cost, time and performance.About the roleThis role is for a Sensors Sustainment Engineer to work closely with a specific client within the Sensors Business Unit. You will be required to manage the sustainment of existing assets within a special project office (SPO). Here you will get the opportunity to work on highly classified sensors suites. As Sensors Sustainment Engineer you will be responsible for:·   Working across multiple projects, and engage with internal and external stakeholder, which will include the SPO principle engineer·      Assisting in the management of the sustainment of the Sensors products Mentoring junior engineers in the Business UnitTo be successful for the role of Sensors Sustainment Engineer you will require:Relevant degree in Electrical/ Electronics or Software Engineering Previous experience working in a similar roleStrong Systems and Software Engineering capabilityAbility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance NV2Ability to attain Engineering Authority under the Technical Regulation (Seaworthiness).Applications close on the Friday 26th April 2019What we offerWithout the collective smarts of our people, we would not be able to achieve what we do. About the role

This role is for a Sensors Sustainment Engineer to work closely with a specific client within the Sensors Business Unit. You will be required to manage the sustainment of existing assets within a special project office (SPO). Here you will get the opportunity to work on highly classified sensors suites. 

As Sensors Sustainment Engineer you will be responsible for:·   

  • Working across multiple projects, and engage with internal and external stakeholder, which will include the SPO principle engineer·      
  • Assisting in the management of the sustainment of the Sensors products 
  • Mentoring junior engineers in the Business Unit

To be successful for the role of Sensors Sustainment Engineer you will require:

  • Relevant degree in Electrical/ Electronics or Software Engineering 
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Strong Systems and Software Engineering capability
  • Ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance NV2
  • Ability to attain Engineering Authority under the Technical Regulation (Seaworthiness).
